Senior’s Get-Together
Seniors’ get together & Mass:
Are you a senior, we are thinking of you and care about your wellbeing. In our community we are happy to have lunched our senior’s get-together day. It’s an opportunity for our senior parishioners to come together outside the confines of their homes to socialise, pray and share a meal.
When: Usually, 4th Thursday of every Quarter at 11:00am.
2026 SENIORS’ ANNOINTING MASS to be advised
You can get involved as well by joining in organising or providing transport. Courtesy of the Social Committee.
Children’s Liturgy of the Word
We are looking for a team of experienced faithful and dedicated mothers and fathers to volunteer for this special and important ministry.
What 'Children's Liturgy of the Word' means
KBCC requires personnel for the special Ministry of Children's Liturgy of the Word, please help us if you can. Contact the Parish Office by email: kbcc@bne.catholic.net.au We would really appreciate you assistance.
KBCC likes to celebrate Children’ Liturgy in our parishes:
- St. Columba’s Church, Wilston twice a month - 2nd & 4th Sundays of each month during the 8:00am mass,
- St John the Baptist, Enoggera twice a month - 3rd Sunday of each month during 9:00am mass. [Except during school holidays.]
The term 'Children's Liturgy of the Word' refers to the practice of children leaving the Sunday assembly during the Liturgy of the Word and gathering elsewhere to celebrate a separate Liturgy of the Word that is more appropriate to their level of understanding.
Of course utmost care is given to the safety and protection of children in line with the archdiocesan Safeguarding Policy.
